Day 1: Palermo / Trapani
Arrival at Palermo or Trapani airport and free transfer to the hotel.
Accommodation in private rooms.
Visit of Trapani, dinner in a typical restaurant with traditional Sicilian cuisine. Free time.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Trapani – Sentiero S.Anna – Erice - Segesta
After breakfast, depart to the discovery of the hiking trail of St. Anne:
The route starts from the “Stazione dell’ovovia” to go to Erice. After breakfast departure to Erice. Visit of the beautiful medieval village of Erice, perched on a peak at 750 mt. Continuation to Segesta to the discovery of the Doric temple, visit of the archaeological park (which is said to be founded by the Elimi, a population that was among the first to settle in the western part of the island after the destruction of Troy) and after a walk of about half an hour, the theater of the III century b.c. , which lies on the other side of Mount Barbaro.
After the visit return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: – Mozia – Cantina - Trapani
After breakfast, departure for Mozia where you will reach the ancient Phoenician city by boat, located on the island of San Pantaleo, where you will visit the ancient ruins and the Whitaker Foundation Museum, where you can admire the “Young Man statue”, dating back to the first Greek classical age that lead back to an artistical environment influenced by Phidias.
The tour continues with a visit of the “Stagnone”, and the visit of the salt museum. Lunch at the “Trattoria del sale”.
In the afternoon visit to a winery and wine tasting (Cantine Fazio).
At the end, hotel accommodation in Trapani. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Trapani – Sentiero di Monte Monaco – San Vito lo Capo – Trapani
After breakfast departure for the trail of Monte Monaco (the path, with a vertical drop of 530 meters, was used by the inhabitants of San Vito lo Capo to go on the slopes of Monte Monaco for agricultural activities of farming). Along the path you can see examples of typical Mediterranean vegetation, near the top are the remains of a stone quarry into disuse.
Lunch in in San Vito. In the afternoon return to Trapani and free time.
Return to the hotel in Trapani. Dinner and overnight
Day 5: Trapani – Aeroporto di Palermo o Trapani
After breakfast, free transfer to Palermo or Trapani airport. End of our services
